"Thoughts for Thursday" ...... on Friday!

Okay, I'm going to try this "Thoughts for Thursday"...even though it is Friday....oh! well! And by the way...this is a very "materialistic" random thoughts posting, just thought I'd share that before you start reading.

*What are your indulgences??*

Is it clothes?
Shoes?
Hair?
Nails?
Books?
Vacations?
Technology?
Kids toys?
Home decorative?
Furniture?
Scrapbooking materials?
**gulp** should I say....sex??

Anything.....what is it?? What do you like to indulge in??

*Along with this, is it about "quality" or "quantity" for you??

Would you rather spend $200 on a great pair of shoes from Nordstrom's or $200 on a whole new wardrobe from Target?

Hair & nails done at a great salon or box colors from Loreal?

A used computer or brand new laptop??

20 Garage sale toys...or 5 new "Melissa & Doug"/"Manhattan toys"?

A pair of "True Religion"/ "Silvers" jeans or "Mossimo"?

Big Lots or Pottery Barn??

**And please don't think, I'm knocking Target/Walmart or you for shopping there, I do too.....I'm just intersted in your thoughts!**

Okay, I would say I am quality vs. quantity, but I do love a good steal from Target. I will not shop at WalMart most of the time because I do not care for our J-town store and other personal reasons. I would say:

200 on a new wardrobe from Target

Hair and nails done at a great salon

brand new laptop

5 new Manhattan Toys or Melissa and Doug

Mossimo jeans would be just fine with me

Pottery Barn.

I am both ways. It depends on what it is. :)

Good topic. I had every intention of posting, but we were home late. :)

$200 on a whole new wardrobe from Target... DEFINITELY

I don't have my nails done... I like them short (actually, I've never in my life had fake nails done... weird huh?), and as for my hair, I go even cheaper than Loreal... Revlon Colorsilk... $2.99/box!! However, I only get away with that b/c its so similar to my natural color, only darker.

Brand new laptop, for sure... but could I say new desktop instead? My new desktop was cheaper than our laptop... and I have many more problems with the laptop than the desktop.

20 Garage sale toys. I rarely, if ever, buy brand new toys... only if they're on clearance. Toys are a dime a dozen and kids usually find entertainment in the dumbest things.

"Mossimo" is good, although I do LOVE Silver Jeans...

Pottery Barn, if I had money. I never shop there but if I had $$ I would. So I guess I'd have to say Big Lots, but I think Target has better stuff than Big Lots and they're the same price (speaking of like, home decorating stuff) as does World Market. I LOVE World Market. They'd win over Pottery Barn any day.

Ok, back to the original question... my indulgences... well, pictures would be one... you'd crap if you knew how many pictures I printed each month. Another would be uh cheap clothes... like Target clothes... its so cheap it feels like a steal to buy and buy and buy. I am always buying new stuff for Porter... the kids closet is always jam packed, its not like he NEEDS more... but little man boy clothes are so cute! What else.. I don't splurge on purses or jewelry or stuff like that... I go cheap.

Alright, there's a novel for you! Great topic, by the way.

Oh man. I think you named off every weakness I have. Hahaha.

My main indulgances are:
Clothes for Jocelyn
Home decor mainly from Meijer/Target
Clothes for myself
Parts for Jeff's toys (i.e. his bike Suzuki GSXR600)
MAKEUP IS A HUGE ONE!!!

And I'm not shy, I'll answer your "Gulp" question. LOL Sex is definitely is an indulgance for me. It is greatly appreciated ever since we had Jocelyn. I never realize how busy I am with her and how busy Jeff is with work, so it's awesome when we realize hey we have time for adult time *wink*!! Of course, when you're married with kids that area sometimes starts lacking...but the less frequent things are, the more you enjoy them when they do happen. :)

I would also prefer $200 worth of clothes from Target. Their stuff is so cheap and really cute. And I loooove clothes so much. Target is my safe haven. I can go, spend a small amount of money, and come out with lots of goodies.

I always had my hair done at the salon when I had highlights. And I almost always have acrylic nails. Recently I have been box coloring my hair, just because it's only $13.99 and it's easy. But if I'm having a "everything is blah" week, I go tanning, get my hair done, and get my nails done...it makes EVERYTHING better. LOL

A new laptop. Jeff is very electronics savvy. Therefore, he has to have the best of the best or else nothing at all.

Garage sale toys for sure. I think I have only bought one storebought toy so far for Jocelyn.

Jeans are a very touchy subject. I ONLY shop at the Buckle for jeans. Nowhere else has jeans to fit me. Always too big in the waist, and too small in the badonkadonk. HAHA. BKE Starlight jeans for me please.

My home decor, besides my furniture, has all come from Meijer/Walmart/Target. :) I've always wanted to be an interior designer, but one for everyday people ya know...not some ritzy "can't afford you on a years salary" type...so I'm constantly looking for a deal on big style little price items.

I would absolutly get a new wardrobe from Target. They really do have some cute things. I am on a budget, that is no doubt...College Student! Haha. I go to a salon, but all I get is a 40 haircut. Mossimo jeans are just perfect for me!
